Overview of College

In order to immortalize the name of Maharaja Sansar Chand Ji, a great warrior and famous ruler of Distt. Kangra, the collage was named after Maharaja Sansar Chand as MSCM Degree College in 1978.

It was established as a Govt. institution in the year 2005. The college is situated in Palampur Hamirpur(via Sujanpur) highway on the bank of Neugal rivulet. The college is situated about 2 kms from Thural town. There is a frequent bus service on this route. The campus of the college is spread over an area of 42 kanals. The place is surrounded with natural beauty and is an ideal place for study.

It is a co-education institution and offers courses in Humanities, Science, Commerce and computer application (BCA/PGDCA). The college has a well stocked automated library, IT Lab and wi-fi Campus along with online admission system facility from this session. The classes are taking place in the newly constructed building. There is lot of infrastructure available in the college for the student such as Stadium, volley ball ground, badminton ground along with new IT Labs.

The Science Classes has been already started in the college from the session 2022-2023
